Default Black Buck Antelope

Has anyone here ever gone after blackbuck antelope? I am trying to plan a trip to go after one of these magnificent animals, but i dont know a thing about them. All i can figure out is that they are extremely spooky and are difficuly to hunt with a bow. Any information and pictures will be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: Black Buck Antelope

I have Blackbuck running free range on the 2200 lease I hunt. I don't think they are any more spooky than Deer. I tooka buck this fall just before Deer season. He counldn't have weighed more than 70/80 lbs. They don't like to jump fences and tend to stay in a more open area than the white tails in my area. The issue is because they stay in the open it does get a bit harder to get close. I used a 7RM to close the distance. Good luck.
