Hello, I am looking for some private land in Florida to hunt next December for Hog and/or Deer. I will be flying down to Orlando then going to stay with relatives in Deland and looking to find some land near there to hunt, I will only be there for about 10 days and will be archery hunting. Thanks

deland, i know the baseball coach of stetson university there. are your relatives associated with the university at all?

Nope, they aren’t as far as I know. Do you know of good areas to hunt near Deland? My plan is to get a 10 day nonresident and an archery permit and hunt Boar and Whitetail in mid December. I would really like to drum up some private land but are there any public areas to hunt nearby?

my cousin goes there and i know he hunts public land nearby. i'll check with him.
i used to have 400 acres i hunted in but sold it[:@]
made a couple bucks though
