My First Boar killed with Bow!!
 

This is my trophy: 270 lbs. red boar with 4 inch cutters. I hunted him on 01/01/06 at Little Lake Lodge Outfitters in Okeechobee, Fla. After we found him hidden on the palmetto bushes i tried to get near him and took off running like a bulldozer and in a heart beat he was gone[:@]! We got on the buggy and gave him a chase and then he circled back and i got off the buggy and hide my self behind a tree and shot him while he was on the run at 25 yards! He ran 40yards and dropped!I was amazed of my shot and my boss was speechless! It was awesome!! I shot him with my 2005 Mathews Switchback using Carbon Express arrows and 85grn. Nap Spitfires broadheads!!

I will go onmonday 01/09/06 to the taxidermist to get it shoulder mounted! It was great and i can't wait to go again!!!!

awesome job there......congrats to ya....with all that running around he's going to be gamey huh.make lots of sausage, lol......that is an awesome hog for sure.
you sure those are 4 in cutters? not to doubt ya or bring you down in any way but they sure dont look 4 inches to me...

Nice shot considering you shot him with a Mathews.... .....just joking don't get mad... There is no feeling like taking anything with a bow. I shot a rabbit 35 yards running in the head 37 years ago, and I haven't used a gun since, except duck hunting. And if allowed I would duck hunt with a bow... :D
