first hog kill what age and how
where was your first hog kill and how old were you mine i was 10 years old (seems like a hundred years ago) and i shot it with a 20 gauge slug i was hunting in st johns county fl when my dad got to me i don't know what was bigger my head or the hog

Gosh, I have to think for a minute, it's been aleast 50yrs ago. I think it was in Homestead, FL in 1954 or 55. I use to hunt in the FL Everglades alot in those days. My cousins husband use to take me. We use to live in Key West then. We also did alot of Gator hunting in the Keys.
My dad bought me a J.C. Higgins Mod.51 (Husqvarner Mauser) in .30-06 in 1954 for $99.99 at sears in Miami, FL for my 14th birthday. I still have it.

really can't remember ; been to long and to many hogs.some where around 1954 or there bouts. I think the first was in Ft. Stewart Ga.
