Tracking Hogs

Can anybody give me any advice on tracking hogs? I went hunting for the first time yesterday and found wallows all over the place. Some looked fresh and some were dry and had been awhile. When I find a pretty fresh wallow, how do I track them from there? Is it kind of hit and miss or is there are meathod to the madness? Thanks for the help.

Just remember....rooting tells you where they WERE!! Try to find an opening, we call them hallways, that are between the heavy cover and the wallows. Find the run that looks to be most used between those two spots and ambush them as they go to and from. You can use some lures or attractants to get them to stop long enough for a shot. Feel free to check out my webpage. I have some things that might help you out!!
