Big russian hog
 

I just returned from hunting with a returning soldier from Iraq. He killed a 609 lb. russian hog. He doesn't have the money for a mount and is only interested in the skull and tusks. The hog is caped for a full body mount. Does anybody know someone or a company interested in this hog? He looks like a 600# bluegill. He is all russian. Thanks

What ranch/outfitter did he hunt with? Did you actually get to weigh it on scales?

Cedar Ridge Farms in Missouri. Yes it was weighed on scales.

I sure as heck would not want any sow in esterous sent on my person, any where near that big boy.

Very, very nice hog. I've only dreamt of encountering one that size.

Cedar Ridge has been getting some very good reports over the past year or so as more folks are heading that way...I can see why.
