Public Land Pigs?

Does anybody know of any good public land for pig hunting in Tennesse, The Carolina's, or anywhere around the East Coast (Driving from Maryland)? Anything, including hunting/scouting/driving/ect. advicewould be greatly appreciated...shooting for late season...Jan. or Feb.

Thanks...

RE: Public Land Pigs?

there are a few public land opps in tn. the big south fork national river and rec area has a special hog season in january and febuary. there is also catoosa wma but ya have to be drawn for that one. other than that that time of year you'd have to find private land to hog hunt on, but at times that can be fairly eaisy sense the wild food is getting short and they will be hitting farm fields and the farmers will want them gone or at least as many as possible you'd just have to have a contact down here looking for you.
