Where to go
 
Any one have any recommendations on where to gofor wild hogs?I would prefer not to hunt a preserve.

Since you live in Penn. I would have suggested Tioga, but since you don't want to hunt a preserve, I would suggest Florida or Texas. These are the two highest populations for hogs. You might be able to hunt them in Tennesse on public land, but I'm not sure.

cocke blount sevier polk counties have good hog populations on wma's big south fork national river and recerational area has a special hog season in january and febuary. you may even find some local farmers who'd let ya hunt in the counties bordering it. catoosa wma has a special draw for hog hunting with dogs, it is a qdm wma that allows hogs to be taken during the deer hunts.
