Here in Fl. hogs are considered game only on WMA's.
Any hog outside the WMA's are considered Property
of the land owner, therefore no season.

There are definitly hogs running around Somerset county. And it is legal to shoot them in anytime of the yearby any means. Do a search on yahoo and you'll find some articles.

They arn't considered game animals here in Pa. Therefore there is no closed season on them. the only ones that are here are the ones that escaped from the hunting preserves. i myself haven't seen any though if i do i will deffinately shoot them. There was one shot 2yrs ago though 3 miles from my home. I also live in somerset county pa.

To the best of my knowledge that is right on the money. They have escaped and are legal to shoot year round...assuming you have permission to hunt the property they are on.

If you released wild hogs in Pennsylvania you would have every farmer within 100 miles sticking tusks up your rear end.
