Whack-em with Montec's III
Here are a pair of sows that I was lucky enough to harvest just outside of Throckmorthon, Tx, got passthrough's on both neither made it farther than 30 yards after the shot.....

That's a big old Sow on the right!! Great job! Did you whack all of these with Montecs and if so, how fast did you get blood. We have a problem down here in Florida with not getting enough blood fast enough and then having them disappear into the palmettos. Thats what led to me using the GameTracker 125's with the expandable back blades. I would like to try the Montecs I bought last year, but I have seen so many lost with fixed blades not giving off enough blood fast enough for a direction that I'm a little weary. I know it's a tuff head and that's why I bought it, but I just need a lot of blood fast in these wet thick conditions.

Your hunting in my neck of the woods. I live about 40 min from Throckmorton.
Nice hogs. Small world. By the way, I camp all the time in Brock and have been known to arrow a truckey or two there as well. Im headed to Brock In two weeks. |
