I dont remember what caliber he used but Breck did say that his son shot him right behind the ear, hog dropped in its tracks...

Went back and checked both pictures and it looks like a neck shot. He was
probally aiminng for behind the ear, but hit it in the neck. Anyway, he got
it. Still a good job! What caliber?
