They did NOT want the fired brass sent I was very detailed in the letter that had me send about what it was doing, what ammo was used, etc. But they only wanted the rifle, nothing else sent.

odds are they don't want the brass,a s they have no real way to tell if it was factory loaded or reloaded ammo
so, for them to rule things out there going to , both measure the chamber and shoot THERE OWN ammo out of it, as its the only way they can be sure its a real issue and not something caused by the ammo being used!! |
I'm fine with that. I hope they are thorough.

I bet you they put a new barrel on it. Looks like there was a machining issue when the chamber was cut.

Spoke with browning today. They said there was "blemishes" in the chamber and it has been polished and cleaned up. They shot three different brands of ammo through it (I don't know what brands) and it is "cycling as smooth as butter" now. Hopefully it's good when it gets back, and stays good. -Jake

Looking at the brass that is exactly the thought I had. Those scratches above the belt are not normal and would cause the 'stickiness' in extraction.I wouldn't think they polished enough to exceed SAAMI specs.

sounds great , hope you get it back and she shoots tiny little groups for you too, as well as ejecting cases as it should!

The browning issues continue.
It's shooting great. And now this... -Jake |
