I had a Boyds laminate on my 700. IMO nice stock for the money. Had my smith bed it and was good to go. Theyre a bit on the heavy side. If you get a Boyds get it with checkering cause theyre slick w/o it.

Slow ya roll kiddo, was just messing with ya! I've taken my share of yearlings for the rotisserie! Hard to beat them when slow roasted on a spit! (I'm still betting on the Ground Hog! That bugger was a fattie! )

There aren't many Boyd's stocks on firing lines beneath champions, Mac's have won more than their fair share. They're made for different purposes. There are a lot more Boyd's stocks filling freezers.
