SKB bead threads

Bead on my SKB 585 is so small I just can't see it in the heat of clays shooting. I want to replace it with a larger bead I can buy off the net but they only list it by thread count.
Any one know the Thread count size.

If you are looking at the front bead on your shotgun while shooting clays, you're missing..............

Concentrate on watching the clay so hard that you can see it spin, and most importantly the front edge of the "bird"; and with a complete follow through !

"Head on the gun, eye on the target" (Todd Bender)- keep the gun moving !!!

So is the answer 6-48? I'd be surprised in this day that a front sight bead would not be 6-48. Maybe, maybe a 6-40, highly doubtful an 8-40. I'd generally assume that 6-48 is a safe bet for almost anything screwed into a barrel these days.
