Savage Axis heavy trigger

I bought a Savage Axis last year and didn't have the money to buy a better model with the accutrigger. I am now dissatisfied with the heavy trigger that I have.
Can this gun be upgraded to the accutrigger or can a gunsmith bail me out?

If your rifle is one of these models, this will fix your rifle.
Good Luck.

I did my own trigger job after Googleing " how to do a trigger job on an axis".
You tube videos. Pick one you like. I am handy, but am far from being a gunsmith.
Seems like the fix was to cut off 1 or 2 coils of spring to lighten pull. Whatever it was . . . it worked! Don't spend more on triggers and such, do the work yourself. If you screw it up . . . then buy parts.

This is a perfect thread for my saying; "Buy it once".

Order of importance;
Scope & Mounting
Barrel
Trigger
