Thanks RR I'm looking to put it a 243.Does it pretty much drop in or do you need to do a little sanding

Boyd's Stocks?

I have two, one long action and one short action; both for Savage/Stevens rifles.
The short action is a staggered feed internal magazine and was 100% drop-in. The long action is the newer straight feed internal box. It required some fitting in the magazine well to get proper feeding.
I like both of these stocks.
GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!

Bought one for my ruger m77 mk2, the action fit nice but the holes for the floorplate is a little off and you have to have a kung fu grip to close the latch it shut.

This is one of their laminated varmint stocks on an old Savage long action.
Far as I know "nobody" makes a wood stock that doesn't need bedded.
This one was unfinished and required minor fitting to get it the way I wanted it. For a bench gun its great but I wouldn't want to carry it on a hunting trip.

I like it!!!!!!!!!!

I have 4 of them and they worked out great. Some times they need a little tender care to get everything to match up put still a good stock. I'm in the process of doing a Nutmeg Laminate, and it will be stained in Evergreen or Newburyport Blue from Cabot, then sealed for my .45 Knight Disc Elite.
