i've been hemming and whoring over this stock for quite a while.at the present moment i think i'm just gonna stick with the synthetic stock that the gun came with.

I have a Boyds Featherweight TH stock for my 700ML build. I have not put it on the gun yet but it feels really nice when you shoulder just the stock. The recoil pad is not the best but when I called Boyds to get some stock advice I was told they will be coming out with a better recoil pad soon.

I put one on my 7.65 Arg. an unfinished featherweight and it did require additional inletting (due to many different dimensions of Mauser actions) but I bedded it,and floated the barrel and all was fine it was what I expected and was very happy with it.

Guys on the Marlin forum love them. They put them on the XS7/XL7 guns. From what I read. They just bolt them on with no problems, and the barrel is full floating.

My Boyds Classic is here!!!!

I bought some semi-inletted over the years for lever guns. I can't complain about the machine work, but the walnut was not great. it was kind of soft and sucked to checker.
