Default Cutting a composite stock

Does anyone know how to shorten a composite stock on a muzzleloader? My stock is about 5/8" too long and I would like to shorten it a little. Just don't know what to cut it with. Any ideas?

Thanks Rogo

Just about any saw that will cut wood will cut synthetic. I use a miter saw on my synthetics, but a band saw and even a hand saw will work. You can use a belt sander and grind the 5/8" off, but it will take a while.

Default Stock

Well, I cut my stock today and it came out perfect! Used my compound miter saw and with one push it cut like butter. Had to trim the recoil pad a little bit with a razor and it fits great!

Glad it worked for you. Now you're ready for your next stock!
