build something that outshoots anyone elses junk and you wont have to worry about it. Learn how to do 1911 and 700 builds and you'll have something. In fact, stick with those two, maybe throw in a glock and you might have a bidness.
If you can't do a trigger job on anything, flip burgers.....

Not at all. I was just saying that it's not a course that will teach someone gunsmithing. Maybe the basic knowledge of guns but gunsmithing requires a lot of hands-on training. How long did it take you to finish the P/F Course?

they said 6mos to a year. finished in 2mos 98% grade knew the answers without the book. have tools and know how but new regs have stopped the home gunshop. must have store front. no outbuildings or basement or in home. so much the american dream

I know the feeling.
The Government regs, have stopped me from, starting my gun shop.
To go by the regs, I need about $ 200,000.00
Just to start.
So much, for helping a small business get started.

I have built quite a few guns from Mauser actions and Winchester actions......and a few others.
I do my own smithing and do not do work for others.....however I occasionally jewel bolts for others.
Here's a few of the guns I have built lately.
A M-70 fwt I rebarreled to .25-06:
A Mark X in .30-06 restocked to Mannlicher
A 9.3 X 62 Mauser on a VZ-24
A .404 Jeffery on a Montana 1999 action
A .35 Whelen on a Mauser VZ-24
and quite a few more.
