cleaning up a Browning Automatic Rifle
A friend asked me to clean up his Dad's rifle for him. The gun had been used a lot, but not cared for all that well and it needed a freshening up.
Originally I was going to re-blue the gun, but after seeing what the bluing on the barrel and top of the receiver looked like, I decided that I might not be able to replicate the quality. I was also concerned that this gun may have been afflicted with the "salted wood" problem.

I cleaned up the sides of the receiver and the other parts, then refinished the wood and gave it a good waxing
