RE: trigger problem
It can't be adjusted but it can be made into a smoother and crisper trigger.
No I would not attempt it yourself. Take it to a gunsmith. |
RE: trigger problem
i had the same problem with my winchester 94. it was pulling at about 8#'s or something like that with a ton of creep. i took to a gunsmith and he shaved the weight to 2.5 and it has absolutely no creep for $25. the trigger was so bad that you couldn't shoot accurately so i had no choice.

RE: trigger problem
I hate to agree ,I like to do most things myself .
BUT a gunsmith is the right way to go IMO Johnch |
RE: trigger problem
I agree take it to a Gunsmith.Unless you know what you are doing a trigger is nothing to play with.

RE: trigger problem
I vote for a gunsmith here too. I wouldn't touch a trigger on a lever gun. Nothing to mess with.

RE: trigger problem
thanks guys. i think i will take it to a gun smith.

RE: trigger problem
Those lever guns are difficult to work on - a local smith I use won't touch them. Find someone who knows what he/she is doing and let them at it.
