Default Weatherby MarkV synthetic?

I am thinking about purchasing one of these in 7mm mag and wondering if anyone has any opinions on them. Also are the stocks decent, unlike the garbage ones remington is making.
Cheers.

Default RE: Weatherby MarkV synthetic?

The stock on the Weatherby Mark V Synthetic has a injection-molded synthetic stock made by Bell & Charlson. It is a good stock. If you can step up to a Weatherby Mark V Fibermark Synthetic, it is hand-laminated, raised comb, Monte Carlo composite stock is pillar bed to reduce torque on the action to improve accuracy. Also think about purchasing a 7mm Wby. Mag. for greater resell value. Good luck.

(Source Weatherby for some infromation.)
