20ga choke size ques

Which chokes do .627in & .623in translate to? I was looking at a SxS 20ga with hammers (think Elmer Fudd). The barrels weren't marked as to what choke they were.
I measured the muzzel of each barrel with a caliper and got .627 for one & .623 for the other.

Are you sure the barrels haven't been back-bored? The cylinder bore size for a 20 guage is normally around .612" to .614".

I have no idea. The gun is of Chinese made, which is a concern; but....it's sooo dang cheap that it's "interesting"

If you can check the barrel inside diamiter just before the choke tube area.
Then you can put the choke tube diamiter in context.
I don't remember what construction each has compaired to bore.
