I would take a look at the 7mm Rem. Mag. it might be a happy medium for you. Good luck.

Thanks for your opinions guys..it really helps alot

handloader-i actually was considering a 7mm rem mag in a remington 700 BDL...but i thought i would be better off with a 30 caliber rifle
