RE: Ok, gunsmiths what do you think
I got this idea after a guy the other day was telling me how he recently rechambered his Marlin in 35 Rem to a 358 Win. You can do anything you wish but stay with rimmed cartridges and with pressures under 40,000 PSI.....don't get the idea that that leveraction marlin is going to shoot like a .308 Winchester because you rechambered it.....It's just not designed for those pressures....if you want a high intensity round get a gun that's suited for it.....most bolt actions are! |

How about a 32 Win Spl; I think it's a 30-30 necked up to 8mm. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. There, did i do ok??? :>))) :D Good one DM, I hoped you could verify if it's based on the 30-30 case. I think it is but I don't have a reloading manuel handy. If broey1 is looking for and easy conversion this could be it. The hard, if not impossible, part would be finding 8mm barrel for a Marlin 336 |
RE: Ok, gunsmiths what do you think
32 win spl is a necked up 30-30 according to my speer manual and it uses a .321 inch bullet while 8mm is .323
