Probably the ol 742 Woodsmaster 30-06 I had that I killed my first 10 -15 deer with. NEVER jammed, held decent groups and got stolen!! [:@]

My favorite pistol has to be the Ruger Single Six .32H&R birdshead...the "vaquerito"...one hell of a weapon.

My favorite rifle has to be the Ruger No. 1 Sporter in .45-70.

Katahdin,
Hey that last post caught my attention. I never knew there was a 35 Whelan Ackley Imp. Can you tell me who did the custom job and on what action? Sounds like a great cartridge. Any ballistic info also appreciated.

Beleive it or not! My favorite is my Marlin MR-7 in .270 This was the bolt action rifle that Marlin put out back in 1996 and discontinued in 1999. All the best features wrapped up in one rifle and a great cost to boot. Too bad they decided to give up on it.

Tough choice, but I'd have to say my Savage 111 in 300 RUM (left handed too!! IEI) topped with a 4-16 Nikon. Nothing I can't hunt in North America!
