Best Price on Zeiss Conquest ?
 

I'm looking for the best price I can find on a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 stainless. So far The Optics Zone is the cheapest I have found it, $429 + free shipping. Has anyone found it cheaper besides E-bay ?

www.eurooptic.com speak to Alex. They generally ship the scope to you to try out first if you like it you send him a check. Lowest I have seen so far

They have pretty good prices not great prices but prettygood prices and they take a card. Eurooptics don't do cards.

He said he would sell me a 4.5-14X44mm AO Conquest for 575 with my choice of recticles and finish. Not bad.

It would depend on if I had both in front of me and I could evaluate clarity, and brightness. No two would be the same.

I have a call in to SWFA. They have a 110% price match policy, even on shipping. If my math is correct that would be $386.10 shipped. Seems really cheap, lets see if they stick to their price match guarantee. ;) If not, I'll call Blackrockservices they have it for 399.

The cheapest I have seen them for is $399.99 and that was at a Gander Mountain store. I have looked at them and they are good optics. I don't know if it is worth the 399 when you can buy a Nikon Monarch 3-9X40 for $279. When comparing both they are too close for me to call.

I got a question can anybody tell me why the Conquest Model 3x9x50 is smaller, lighter and cheaper than the 3.5x10x44?

hmm on optics forum would be nice.

SWFA said $422.70 shipped was their best price.
BlackRock has one on Ebay for $399 + 14.99 shipping
Eurooptics has not got back in touch w/ me

The Zeiss web site states that the american warranty isn't good if you don't purchase at an authorized dealer. There are 17 dealers on their list in my area and none of these ebay dealers are on it. BlackRock sold one last night for $331.00. I would like to bid on these items but don't know about this warranty thing.

As far as I know, he is an exclusive Zeiss dealer.

Bigcountry...If we are talking about Blackrock....I am not sure either way..However I did search his zip code through Zeiss's homepage and he is not listed as a local dealer in that area.

They do state that they buy from US source.
I have little worry that Zeiss will honor the waranty.

This guy lives about 45 min.drive from me and I tryed to deal with him at a gun show about a Zeiss and he wouldn't move a inch on the price! D&R Sports has better prices on Zeiss scopes...

I was up late watching that auction, but the authorized dealer issue held me back.

I ordered the scope this morning, ended up getting matte instead of stainless. Of all places, I got it from BassPro for $399 w/ free next day air and they put it on a 6 pay plan. I could not turn that down.

Is the 3-9x40 your first choice or would you prefer a higher objective if the price was "right"? I have an inside track with Zeiss and can probably be of some assistance on price. The only catch is the scope will have to be sold and sent to me. I don't mind ordering for you since I am planning an order for myself but I will need to know positively that you want the scope. The last scopes that I ordered were Conquest 4.5-14's for $350 each and a Conquest 6.5-20 for $420 (my price are subject to change slightly but will almost always be better than wholesale). Let me know if you are interested.

In the FWIW dept.

I bought a 3.5x10x44 ZC from Blackrock Services though auction on Ebarf on 3/4/05. I had a massive knot in my stomach when I pressed the "pay-now" button. :D

The scope arrived on 3/21/05. It came a blue box with the "Zeiss Sports Optics Division, Authorizied dealer" seal. Included was all paperwork & lens covers.

I registered the scope online a few mins ago with no problems.

Hmm.. I bought my last 3-9x40 from him and it was 365 few months back and they have gone to 400 with his last increase. I met him at the Dixie Classic Deer festival a few weeks back and prices were the same. Now I deal with DNR also and when I bought my last Zeiss 365 bucks they were higher not by much but higher. Oh well I guess it depends on what kinda day they are having. I have a bid on a 3-9x50 by Black Rock on Ebay..this ought to be fun ends in about 3 hours.:D

oldelkhunter,Your right about that,I just ordered a Encore pistol frame from D&R and the price droped $10.00 from when I talked to them last month! They still make there money...;)
