Glock model 23

Does anyone know if A Glock model 23 will handle +p+ ammo?

+P+ is pretty hot. I'd suggest calling their customer service number and ask to speak to one of their technicians. If he/she says its ok, I'd suggest gettting his or her name.(to cover your arse)

RE: Glock model 23

Actually, the Glock 23 is a .40S&W handgun. The .40S&W is already at +P levels. There have been a couple of companies in the past (Corbon & Georgia Arms) that sold a .40S&W +P round but I have never seen a +P+. I actually have one box of Corbon 165 gain +P left.

Now as to the 9mm (#17, 19, 26 & 34), Glock will tell you yes to shooting +P in them. However they will proably reserve the +P+ for the military and police. (just a guess, and it will depend on who you talk to at Smyria)

Forgot to say that any ammo marked "+p+" is NOT loaded to SAAMI specifications, as there is no standard for double-plus-p (+P+) so pretty much no manafacture will tell you yes on that one.

RE: Glock model 23

Ive got a glock 23 and ive shot every kind of bullet through it i could find.....but i havent come across any +P+ ammo. if you find some let me know where i can get my hands on some. Glocks are made to stand up to the harshest conditions i wouldnt think that there would be any problem with +P+, ill ask around at work and find out.
