Rifled Shotguns...
After all the interest in "slug question" I thought it would be cool to hear what shotguns people are using to hunt whitetail. Doesn't neccesarily have to be a rifled gun, but lets try to keep it to slug guns. Also what ammo it shoots best, and a pic if possible, scope/no scope etc.

Harrington & Richardson Ultra Slug Deluxe.
12 gauge.
Simmons 4X Pro-Diamond recticle scope.
Brenneke slugs, usually 3-inch Gold Magnums or 2-3/4-inch Heavy Field Magnums.
Total cost.........less that a single cantilever rifled barrel for any pump or semi-auto.
Priceless.

I guess it is the Slugmaster. It's a funny looking action, bolt handle is further forward than I would like, and it carries like a 2 x 4. Shoots real nice though. I have only tried a couple brands of slugs. It loves the regular old Winchester/BRI sabots. I do want to try some of the higher velocity sabots, maybe some Remington Core-loks this year. If they don't work out i'll just go back to the Winchesters. 1" groups at 50 yds.
