welcome BHD!! there are alot of good guys on this board with alot of useful information!! if I may encourage you to check out the search menu. It may answer alot of your questions without having to post! And please dont start a thread asking which is better the 270 or 30-06! that ones been hammered to death in here!!:D:D Seriously though welcome and make some friends!!!

Hello and welcome I'm recently a new comer too and am figuring things out too and this site if very interesting and helpful and they have helped me decide what calibre of rifle I should buy because I have been back and forth on what ones and they have helped me decide and my answer came out to be the trusty 7mm.

Just look or ask around a bit and u will get the right answer here.:)
