Savage reintroducing the 99 would be very welcome news. I can't believe with todays CNC machinery that this has not happened already or maybe there is more demand for bolts anymore.

A extremely accurate Remington over and under rifle. A 6mm with a 7mm Rem Mag. One gun that will do it all.:eek:

I would like to see a longer trigger pull. Standard trigger pull is about 13.5". I'm 6' 2" tall, and I'm thinking a trigger pull in the area of about 15.5" would be better. I read some years ago that manufacturing advances allowed mirco-tuning mass produced products to smaller runs of more specialized products and still making a profit. Why not some other bloody trigger pull available then the 13.5" trigger pull?

I'd like to see American rifle makers start turning out double rifles like those of the bygone African safari days. How many time do you shoot more than once or twice at a deer anyways.
