i have tried the failsafes. they never grouped well in my gun. as for wund channels? i have read and seen in magazines that they penetrate more than make a hughe wound channel.

It was never made for deer in my opinion, mainly big game like elk, moose etc.. But I like plain old Sierra's for deer out of guns that don't shoot over 3K Fps. SST's are another good one.

i use a .300 weatherby on deer and on all the animals in north america and i use the nosler patition it works just fine for me and so does the nosler ballistik tip. im really fond of the remington core-loct ultra they work great thy them some time
