Default Browning Auto 5

My brother in law just bought an auto 5 light. He wants to get the gun reblued and needs to know if the vent rib is lead soldered or silver soldered. The serial # range is 4g 36000. Does anyone know where we could find this information? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Default RE: Browning Auto 5

I would say it's Silver Soldered. To be sure I would contact Browning.Anyone competent in bluing should be able to reblue it without a problem.
