Any Smith and Wesson buffs out there

This was passed down to me from my Grandmother. It is a Smith & Wesson 38 special ctg. It is a pearl handle and it says its a model 10. Made in Springfield Mass.

That's a old 5 screw Model 10 Military Police.Looks like it's in good shape for it's age.There are tons of them still around.The pearl grips look like plastic probably made by Jay Scott.I would have it checked by a competent smith.Making sure it's still in time before firing it.

270 win., you might want to edit out at least part of the serial number from this post. There's all kinds of folks cruising these boards and not all of them have honorable intentions. Hate to sound paranoid... but I am.:eek:
