The local Dunhams sporting good store is selling it for 220 with a sale taking 20 percent off all scopes. However, I am still considering a Weaver Grand Slam. The sale lasts through wednesday, I hope to reach a decision by then.

It's just my opinion (and not based on any technical information), but I'd buy the Sightron and be done with it. I think that you will NOT be disappointed.

Burris 4-14 Fullfield II with balistic plex reticle....315 bucks at midway and natchez...can't go wrong

Power wise i would say 3-9X. The brand and model all depends on how much yuo wanna spend.
