Yes, but there are plenty of good choices. Find the one that works for your scope and rifle. I've tried a few different makes, Sako's Optilocks are the best, but only good for a Sako/Tikka rifle. Warne bases & rings work well, but I prefer Leupold. I've read good things about Burris Signature rings but I just couldn't get things to line up very well when I tried them on one of my rifles.

I put Burris on my new gun but I wouldnt hesitate a bit to use Weavers.....I have had em on several guns with ZERO probs.

I'm a big Conetrol and Talley fan myself. Both are excellent in my experience with them.
