encore rifle to pistol

i want to change my encore rifle to a handgun, i know i need the pistol grip and the pistol barrel but are there different forends for the handguns like there are for the rifles?
Do i need to get a handgun permit in order to convert it?

Goodness, where in the world do ya live? NJ? I guess if you are in NJ, you might have to have a handgun permit. You can order all the parts online with no permit.

to answer your question, yes, you'll need a different forend to make the swap.
