I have 1 .
It shoots OK not great.
It has been colecting dust in the safe for the last 5+ years.
When last I used it , I got the best groups with the standard Winchester BRI slugs.
With some of the new slugs out now it may shoot good ,but have used a pistol for most of my Ohio deer gun hunting and bought a Rem 11/87 and a smooth bore slug barrel to use when tracking other hunters wounded deer.

I have one, and hit shoots really good, but not as good as my Remington 11-87 Rifled/cantilever barrel. When I first got my 835 I sighted it in with Lightfields 2-3/4", and got really good groups, then after all the shooting I was cleaning up and saw on the side of the box, which said 2-3/4" slugs shouldn't be used in a 3-1/2" chamber. I called Lightfield they told me why, its also on there web page www.lightfieldslugs.com so I went on to sight it in with Lightfirlds 3-1/2" slugs, and also got really good groups
