RE: Bullet groups for .30-06

I have a Ruger MKII M77 in 06' and with nothing other than a Timney trigger and a Nikon Buckmaster 3x9 and I was shooting well under an inch. My load was 59 grains of IMR 4831 with a Sierra boattail on top with Winchester primers and brass. They did the job on deer and were pretty flat shooting as well, I don't remember the exact chrono numbers off the top of my head now because my father uses the rifle these days and I use a .270 for my deer hunting......I haven't had the gun in my possesion for about 4 years. I do remember it was a pretty hot load though IIRC but I would have to look it up in my reloading books.

I also shoot the AccuBond in my .270 now and am VERY impressed with it so far......if I could start loads again with the 06' I would probably base them on this bullet in the 150 grain.
