hey guys i was just wondering what ur coyote gun is. mine is a winchester model 70 lightweight short action (model isnt made any more) in .223 remington. its topped off with a bushnell banner 6-18x50. i shoot 50 grain v-max out of it and it is DEVASTATING. any ways just wondering what u guyz use. thanks
I've got a .223 and a Model 70, just not in the same gun. My .223 is a Browning composite stalker. Topped with a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40, it is my go to gun. It likes Hornady factory ammo, or V-Max moly bullets in reloads. The 40 grain group the best, but the 50 grain are right there with them. I just picked up a Model 70 in 25-06 recently, and put a VX-III 4.5-14x40 on it. Haven't taken anything with it yet, or shot any reloads through it for that matter.

Man.... I can top you on that, I took one with my 50 caliber Muzzleloader during deer season... I was about to go in after a crappy morning and that yote scampered right up to me... Kaboom, it didn't move an inch and I swear I could see the blood splatter.
