Tikka Question
 

Could someone tell me if the tikka whitetail hunter in blue synthetic, is a gloss blue or matte finish on the barrel? I can't remember. I realize these aren't very easy to find anymore, and I haven't looked at one for a couple years, but I saw an add for one. The add doesn't have any pictures. I inquired and they told me it was blued not stainless. I wasn't certain the guy was sure what I was asking. Thanks for you help. Merry X-mas to everyone. Mark

I believe that it is a gloss blue finish. I looked up the rifle on google and couldnt find any descriptions that said gloss but i did see pics that looked like they were gloss finished. Not 100% positive. Hope this helps, try lookin it up on google if it doesnt.

All the pics and descriptions I have ever seen on Tikka's leads me to believe that they apply satin finishes to their barrels.

the plastic stock models have a matt finish on them...
