encore rifle barrels
 

I have a t/c encore 50 cal muzzle loader. i allso have a ruger num 1 b standard 7mm rem mag.my qus is i was thinking off selling the ruger and getting a 300 win mag bar for my encore, the onley thing that concerns me thow is i know the encore is a good gun but it dosent seem to be built as good as the rugers falling block sys. and i dont know how acc the encore barrs are all advice app. thank you

I have an encore and would put a lot of trust into a custom BBL for it. I really like the gun but to each his own. The ruger is an awsome choice too.

All of my Encore barrels shoot great and I own "a few" of them...;)

I'd never say anything bad about the Ruger #1, but if you MUST sell it in order to get the Encore barrel, go for it. The Encore action is plenty strong enough for the 300WM and you shouldn't lose any accuracy. IMHO, your ability to shoot both the 50cal BP and the 300WM, while shouldering the same stock and pulling the same trigger, will make you a better shooter.
