Looking for a spotting scope

I am interested in a spotting scope, I don't want to break the bank but want a decent one. I am leaning to the Nikon spotter XL kit . Anybody have one? what is your opinion? ..Any others in the $450 range ..Thanks Bill

Take a look at Burris Spotting Scopes. They run from about $200.00-$420.00, and they are Fully Multicoated. I own a Nikon Spotting Scope, and I am happy with it. Good luck.

I was looking at the burris landmark. But they give them to you when you buy a scope. How good could they be? I thought I seen a post on here saying they were not good? Bill

I have one from one of those aforementioned "packages" and I am very satisfied with both my scope and spotting scope. I'm an old photography buff to boot, so I can appreciate good optics when I see them. Check out www.opticstalk.com
