Old Remington rifle
 

My father gave me an old pump action 22 rifle when I was 8. It was chambered in the short/long/ and long rifle. It had an octagon barrel. The rifle was lost in a house fire 10 years ago. I would like to aquire another one, but cannot remember the model nuber. Does any one have any thoughts?

More than likely it is the Reminton model 12 it came in round an octagon barrel so don't be suprised if you find both kinds .

Hey i maybe a little late on this rifle I.D. they made models 12 a b and c in round & octagon barrels from1909 to 1936.:)
