Been at this for awhile, but never worked on a Model 77, hence the question. Thanks for the heads up!

MK II can be adjusted for pull weight by changing or modifiying springs and stoning contact surfaces but only if a gunsmith does it. YOu/I still do not like the results and prefer the Timney...your getting a different sear as well wtih the Timney unit and apparently it makes all the difference in the world. If your unsure about this fitting and don't have the patience for it take it to a gunsmith.
