My .270 I've always thought of as a beautiful, elegant woman - I named her Rachel a long time ago.

My .300 Win Mag, on the other hand - it's all black (synthetic and blued), and all power. From the moment I held it in my hands, I knew. The Reaper.

My wife calls my ML "Jerky Maker". Although I prefer "Deer Slayer".

I have not named any guns, but this post is inspiring me. I'll start with the .410 that I always rabbit hunt with...how about Bunny Thumper...kind of a disney play on words...

Or Cottontail Killer...

I used to call my .300 "Thumper", now I call my pet rifle, (whatever it is at the time) "Sandman"

I haven't come up with anything for either rifle, but I call my 12 gauge "The Dovinator".
