Winchester Model 72

Hey, folks. I got a needle in a haystack question. I have a model 72 winchester .22 cal rifle in great shape, except for the bolt. This gun's finish is about 80%+ The problem is, that the previous owner had managed to break the bolt handle, and the dude arc-welded it back on, altering the bolt slightly so the head-spacing is off. The thing will only shoot as a single-shot, and then, only every third or fourth time you pull the trigger. I managed to have someone find the bolt in South Dakota, but by the time I got the money for the guy, the bolt was gone. It is fairly rare. People have complete firearms, and naturally no one wants to sell just a bolt. Is there anyone out there that could reasonably rpair this one, or find another bolt assembly? I've tried gun shows and the major on-line parts sources. Nobody seems to have it. I'm hoping that maybe somebody knows about one or even how to re-machine the one I got. Any gunsmiths out there wanna give it a try? Personal e-mail is [email protected] Thanks!

Definitely a model 72. MAde from about 1938 to 1959, this was a.22 caliber bolt action rifle with a tubular magazine, shoots .22 shorts, long, long rifles.
