Scope mount
 

My little Marlin 39A .22 has a Weaver scope on it, which requires a side mount. The Weaver scope has clouded so badly you can't see through it. I would like to put a 1 inch tube scope on it. My problem is where do I find a side mount that would be compatable? The closest gunsmith to me is over 60 mi. away. Does anyone even make a side mount for a 1 inch tube?

I have a Rem 760 in 270 cal that had an old weaver 2.5X scope on it that had the floating dot. My eyes have changed to the point that the dot floated right out of view at times. The mount was a Griffin & Howe side mtd w/ quick release levers. Problem with these are they were mounted low and the only scope (modern) I could get to sit in the existing mount in a vary power was the Redfield Widefield Low Pro in 2-7. I dont have the gun avail but I thought the new Redfield was a 1" tube and it mounted right up.
