What about CZ?

Does anyone have one of those little CZ carbines in 7.62x39? I'm looking to retire my 30-30 and replace it with an equally handy gun with similar ballistic performance.

I don't have one but I haven't heard a single complaint about the CZ firearms line. Every one I have looked at and handled has been a quality piece of work.

RE: What about CZ?

I recently bought a CZ550 in 6.5 Swede. I could not be happier. This is the most accurate out-of-box rifle I have ever owned. With PMC factory loads I got 5 shot groups from 7/8" to 1 1/4" at 100 yards. The single set trigger is interesting and fun at the range, but too light for my taste to use in the field (~2 lbs or less.)

I would buy another CZ in a heartbeat.

The one I'm lookin at is the 527 in 7.62x39. I figure it will be a little softer on the wallet to shoot than the magnums or even the 30-30, and I hear its similar in on-game performance to the 30-30
