NEF huntsman or sidekick muzzleloader???
 
Im getting one of the two muzzeloaders for the upcoming season. The huntsman has a 24in barrel as to the sidekicks 26in barrel(advantage?) Is it a descent begginer gun? Please help!!!!

You Might want to loof at the traditions persuit in 50 cal. I own one and find it very well made comfortable & shootable. There are no plastic caps to fool with & the 209 primer is very easy to remove , fired or unfired.

I'm blanking on this, but I believe one is capable of shooting a magnum charge, and the other isn't. Keep that in mind, if it matters to you. It wouldn't matter to me. I'll never use 150 grains of powder!

You might look into a Combo, if that interests you. For a little more money, you get a huntsman with either an extra 12 ga. barrel, or a .243 barrel, I think.
